Quads needs to be beat. And I wasn't able to find out how they divide up the jackpot.

I think it is a terrible investment. The only reason I would play a jackpot table is if the fish really flock there. But at the 3/6 and 5/10 level the rake is hard enough to beat without adding the $0.50 BBJ.

FWIW I have play many hundred thousand hands and NEVER lost with quads. I know it can happen, but it is like basically playing the lotto.

Both ends of a straight flush is the most likely scenario.

But there has to be some number or size when it actually is a good investment... heck maybe its 1million but at some point it is a good deal...

It's AAAKK not quads.

As soon as someone hits a qualifying bad beat, 70% of the jackpot will be shared between everyone at the table where the bad beat went down. 20% will go towards the next jackpot and 10% will go to the house.

We’ll take the new amount and divide it amongst the players seated at the Bad Beat Jackpot table.

The loser of the hand – ie. the bad beat victim - will take 50% of the prize
The winner of the hand will take 25% of the prize
The rest of the players seated at the table will share the remaining 25%
