PS $3.25 45-man MTT - how is my line on flop/turn?

I figured shorty would go all-in so just called OTB; 4-flush on flop so I just flat call; though about raising but figured villain donkish so I'd like to see turn in position. Flush hits on turn so I raise just in case he has Ah so no free cards but figured I was well good here - anyone just flat call? I figured he'd keep on betting anyway...

I don't see anything wrong with playing this hand, other than the fact that you have to show it down.

I probably would have raised pre, but I raise everything pre.

Other than that, I don't mind your line. Except you're not raising the turn to give a bad price to higher hearts, you're raising to build a pot so you can jam the river and give him odds to call.

table had been allowing limping pretty regularly, so with 87s on the button I thought I could see a cheap flop. I don't think I ever fold the flop even when he bets given the odds I'm getting are 4-1 and I don't put him on a flush draw here

Well, only 1 guy has limped so far, so it's not like it was going to be a family pot. You are in the yellow zone and soon to be orange once the antes kick in, which reduces the value of SCs. At this point you need to be conserving chips to steal/resteal with and trying to double up. Suited connectors get most of their value from flopping draws, and you don't have enough chips to chase. An additional argument for folding is the SB having 340 chips, so you should have know the flop was going to cost 340 and not 200. So anyway, fold this PF with this size stack.

However, you didn't fold PF, so lets look at the flop. This is simple, you're getting 4:1 with a flush draw on a board that's likely to pay you off if you hit, so it's an easy call. I'd just shove the turn he's not folding an A, and he's not putting in any more money without one. Also, you may fold out like Jh or something which would be good.

Thx I see your point(s) - esp the one about pushing out somebody with a Jh. I think I played flop onward fine and this table had been letting limpers in. Plus with blinds at 100/200 I figured this would be just about the last time I could reasonable limp on the button and get away with it.

I also thought that hands like 87s played best in position in multiway pots like this one but think I should re-read HOH again and how it addresses this issue - I guess I really don't have the odds to chase anything after the flop as I was certainly not deepstacked enough.
