Best Tracking and Record Keeping Software

I'm looking for a couple programs (they have to be allowed by PokerStars):
1. To keep track of my opponents detailed stats.
2. To keep track of my stats so I can keep records and evaluate my play (preferabally something can can be seen on AND offline...like in Excel)

I don't really care if they cost money, I'm just looking for a good, quality program.

Also, I think I read somewhere that programs that use a centeralized database to pool players stats aren't allowed by Stars (only ones where you, the player, are actually at the table)...is this true? If so, does this mean that I can't get useful stats till I have played tons of hands w/ many opponents?

Any other helpful programs you guys know of would be greatly appriciated. I've been playing poker online for years now, but I want to start taking it really seriously and any advice will be helpful. Thanks!

Get PokerTracker and Poker Ace HUD.

What features do they have? Are they free? Anyone have any other suggestions?

These are the industry standard tools that 99% of the guys here use. I don't know about other tracking software. I think both offer free trial versions.

PT is $50USD I think. I bought it using paypal. PokerAce is $25. I was able to transfer the guy the money over my pokerstars account and he gave me the key code. Well worth the money.
