I feel like I'm not beating much here, is a standard fold given villains' stats? What kinds of stats warrant a call here? I'm snap calling with the nut flush here, so where do I draw the line against 20/10's ? |

Is this a call if the board isn't paired?

Is this a call if the board isn't paired? [/ QUOTE ] Player dependant, but normally no. That 2 is a blank except for the flush, villain has higher flush almost always. |

Ok, so how many lower flushes need to be in villain's range to warrant a call?

Ok to rephrase that question, what if I had the ace high flush in this scenario? Then there would be a lot of lower flushes that villain could have and I would certainly call his all in.
But where do I draw the line? Am I calling with the jack high flush here? what about the nine high flush? Now you should see what I meant before. If I held a flush higher than the lowest possible flush then I could add lower flushes than mine to villain's range and therefore be beating part of his range. If villain's range consists of full houses and flushes here, how high of a flush do I need to have to make a call profitable? i.e. how many lower flushes than mine do I need to be able to add to his range in order to be able to call, given that he could have a full house or a higher flush as well? I would say that I'm certainly calling with the ace high and king high flush here. I'm not sure about anything lower though, thoughts? |

Yeah, that's a fold.
Did you call? Did he have QQ? |

Yes, and yes. But I've already established that it was a terrible call. What I'm wondering about now is THIS post:
