Default Jacks in favorable board

NL 2/5

Hero (SB): $500
Villain (BB): $ 600

Hero J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

4 players limp, I make it 40 to go, BB calls, the rest folds.

Flop: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero Bets $70
Villain Raises to $ 200

Hero??

Villain does not usually raise with draws but with made hands. However, I saw him overbetting top pairs and overpairs (and he probably would have reraised pf with a big pair).

If your pretty sure he isnt raising draws I think this is a set a lot of the time, so its probably a fold. And even if he has a semi-decent draw your not too far ahead.

What about check-raising instead of betting? Then, if he reraises I fold. If he calls I push the turn.

And, if he doesn't bet I bet the turn.
