Local/Home Tourney Strategy
This might belong elsewhere, but here's a question:
I'm playing at a home game soon where I'm likely to be the best player there. To me, this seems like danger as I'm likely to be challenged with anything at any moment and get a lot of all-ins. What strategy would you employ in this situation? My thought is to play very tight until I get a read on the table and then start exploiting advantages. I figure the reads should be easier than normal. I would think slow-playing my big hands is going to be more useful here than the tournaments I play. Anyone have a good strategy for such situations? Since it's mostly for fun and limited cash, it's not a big deal. |
