issuing a check... how long?

I am Canadian, so Neteller is no longer available to me.
I play on a Prima site.
I have always withdrawn moneys through Neteller.
on the Prima sites there is an option for depositing money for Canadian players only, it's called "usemybank" and it directly withdraws money from your bank account.
Only problem is that you can't withdraw the same way.

I've recently done quite well and have requested sizeable a withdrawal by check. How long will it take? Does it matter how big the withdrawal is? (for security reasons)

Anyone else use this 'stoneage' withdrawal method?
