Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza II

Anyone play in this yet? Opinions?

Considering playing on Friday before the WSOP event 38 on Saturday.

yeah play tight early on, its a really fishy field. lots of time to pick up pots. last week i was on my starting stack for 4-5 hours. still managed to final 2 table it.

One thing you need to consider is the final table (or few tables) of this tournament is (are) played down to a winner the next day.

So if you really want to play WSOP event 38, well then, you may miss it if you go deep into the Venetian Deep Stack and have to finish that tournament the next day.

im playing Thursday and maybe Friday....any 2+2ers playing his holler and we can throw chips around together at the final table.

Good point I didn't consider. I will probably go to Caesars noon tourney. I didn't realize the Vevetian DS was two days.

I played the 1k on a sunday and thought it was a really great tournament and poker room. I think you'll enjoy it.

Yea...Really love the room, cocktail waitresses, etc...Made enough out there last month to buy in to the WSOP circuit at Caesars.

I plan to stay in event 38 as long as possible, but it's likely I will end up at the Venetian at some point.

I'll be playing this Friday and probably saturday. I'll flash a BBV4L sign when I drag my first pot.

It's a really great tourney, downside is if you arent staying in the hotel you either have to go the day before to register, or show up like an hour+ in advance to avoid being shut up or being an alternate.
