V 95% or more I am leading this flop but just decided not to here. [/ QUOTE ] you prob mean you cbet this river... and you should have done in this case. checking the flop behind is just not a good idea b/c villain is prob going to call your cbet with any piece of the flop (exept a 6) and you donŽt want to let a hand like 10 9 wnat to draw for free. The turn is ok although iŽd make a psb to about 12$. Now there is a spades draw as well. IŽd just call the river. from villainŽs stats he looks like a decent player and he wonŽt call you raise with many hands you beat. |

bet more on the turn for reasons stated above
i think raising the riv is fine , he's calling here with kq ,qj,66,55, and the only hand that beats you is T9 which is very much in his range but owell i'll take that risk.... |

I would probably bet flop but as played...
He knows you have a big hand when you raise a blank turn and he calls anyway which means hes probably reasonably strong or has a good draw. I think he's either got AQ/9T/KT here or possibly turned a set of 5's. AT isn't calling a raise on the turn. I think betting the flop is definately the way to go though on that board. |
