2-7 3x Draw Predraw
How many 5 card combos are there?
How do you figure it out? How do you figure chances of a pat hand? Ex. 23457 What are the chances? Of course the pat hands cant be flushes. Ex. 2347X How many are there? How do you figure it? If I have a specific list of starting hands, how do I figure how often I'll have them? Ret |

How many 5 card combos are there? How do you figure it out? [/ QUOTE ] There are C(52,5)=(52*51*50*49*48)/(5*4*3*2*1)=2598960 possible starting hands. [ QUOTE ] How do you figure chances of a pat hand? Ex. 23457 What are the chances? Of course the pat hands cant be flushes. [/ QUOTE ] There are four choices for each of the five cards, so there are 4*4*4*4*4=1024 ways to have 23457. Of these, there are 4 which make flushes, leaving you 1020 possible nut hands. To figure the chances of being dealt such a hand, it's just 1020/2598960. |

How do you then calculate the chances of a 1 card 7 draw?
2347X X can equal 2,3,4,7, and any card greater than 7 Ret |

Re: 2-7 3x Draw Predraw
The best way to figure out the probabilities for specific starting hands, I think, would be to write a small piece of code to simulate it for you.
That "1 card 7 draw" is pretty tricky to get exactly because of the whole "no flush" thing. |
