KK pf vs NIT 4-betting cold
Villain is Saggy_Home, a fish-reg who is 42/7 over a big sample. I've not seen him do anything like this before that i can remember.
I thought this was a 'get it in quick ldo' type spot, but a good reg i have on msn who observed it at the table wasn't so sure vs this player. I hate reading KK pf threads cos they're always a disguised bad beat post, some i'm not going to waste anyone's time, i got it in and he had AA blah blah. I genuinely want to know whether felting is profitable in this spot. Re: KK pf vs NIT 4-betting cold
We all do it. As we push, you think " I bet he has Aces" and he always does. Notice the 3 bet min-raise saying "Please re-raise, Get it ALL-INNNNNNNNNNN".

Re: KK pf vs NIT 4-betting cold
Well folding sucks and he "should" have AA here alot but not all the time.
I would call and pray for a king or two. =) Srly you must have seen him play AA/KK/QQ/AK in other situations over that large sample size? Too bad you can't call time on party. |

Re: KK pf vs NIT 4-betting cold
Doesn't pushing only get called by AA/KK regardless of what he'll cold 4 bet with? Pushing seems like the worst option available.

Re: KK pf vs NIT 4-betting cold
ii had a look at my own PT records some time ago to see what my stats looked like in this regard. I always went all in with KK and lost many times to AA, but over all KK was still a solid winner over time. Hope that helps. Why not check out your own stats?
Also, I would not Push Kk into a player i knew to be really solid, given the scenario you have detailed here. Ya gotta know when to foldem. |

Re: KK pf vs NIT 4-betting cold
i would not push pf here against this particular opponent.
i dont think folding is that bad in this particular situation v Saggy (yes he is terrible, and yes, he has AA here almost all the time). i think there is a case for taking advantage of his predictability here and not paying off his AA. however, if im going to play it, i kind of like calling here and getting it in on a low flop. if he doesnt have AA here he has QQ, AK (or maybe the case KK). he will more likely fold AK and QQ pf if you push, but if you get a low flop then you get and extra c-bet out of him with AK and he is more likely to stack off with QQ. |

Re: KK pf vs NIT 4-betting cold
I am sorry i would push here every time... chalk it up to a cold deck...or whatever helps u sleep at night...but 5 handed you should go broke with KK every time...IMO
