Cuss a lot. Throw mouse. Punch wall. Then call and fold turn or river if he bets again. Thats a pretty standard line for me for this hand.

If villain bets a flop this dry with a K on board, you think he's checking the turn? I dont like a call.

If you have played this opponent a lot and are even 30% sure he wouldn't make a move like this without a set - you fold the flop.

It sucks, but for all he knows you had QQ and he lost a ton of value.

Assuming he would 3bet with AK (and I think all good 17/8's do), yes, I don't see how this is anything but 66/77. It's a weird bet, though...the fact that it's a king high rainbow board means his $40 bet is really only getting called by AK or AA (and considering you're the PFR, you're the only one that can have those hands). Since he knows you can probably get away from AA vs. him here, it sure seems like he's burning money by leading out with his set.

How were the other two that limped in front of you? FYI, I was villain in hand and the other two that limped had a lot to do with my call there.

These players made my range almost infinite, because of full stacks and bad play by them. Always make sure you are paying attention to all things.

Well played by yourself

If I have QQ and you check behind on turn I auto-push river and you lose 40 bucks...or do you call the river push?
