Default Preflop cap w/ AKo

Villain is 18/15/1.5 over ~50 hands.

Is this a standard cap? After his 3bet I put CO on AK,QQ+ because of his stats. Do you find a bet anywhere on turn or river?

set the converter to output for 2+2
this hurts my eyes

flop cap is totally standard but your flop raise sucks. you aren't ahead and you're going to get 3bet a lot

Why are you raising the flop if you think he has QQ+ and AK? What worse hand will call and what better will fold?

Why would you bet the turn or river if you put him on QQ+ and AK? For the same reasons as above.

BTW if his range is QQ+ and AK then you should prolly fold preflop.

Welcome to the forums.

How is UTG? This is relevant in determining CO's range. If he is a huge lag then the CO could be isoraising a lot of hands here. If he is super tight, your range could be accurate.

With the info you have given I think your range is too small. He raises 15 percent of his hands, which probably means he 3 bets with TT and JJ as well as AQ, AJs and probably other lower hands. I would cap it.

Yes, the cap is standard. A few things:

1. If you put him on QQ+ or AK, you shouldn't cap. This range, though, is ridiculously tight.

2. Don't raise the flop. He's betting intending to 3-bet really often and raising serves no purpose anyway.

3. Call his flop bet and probably fold the turn. I don't think he does this with something random like KJ often enough to warrant calling down here.

So you are playing 1/2 at a site with a steep rake schedule and the best table you could find had a 30/20 and 18/15 guy to your right?

At the time the tables were crowded so I joined the waiting lists on reasonably loose tables and this was the first one I got to. I admit that I won't receive the Table Selection Academy Award here

Preflop is fine, the flop raise makes no sense to me. I think I call/call/fold here.
