SB is pretty straight forward preflop. He wouldnt raise from the SB with less than AT+ KJ+ 77+, and I think I am being generous.

Don't call a raise PF with T9o. If you're putting this guy on a big hand why are you calling all of his raises?

I'm not really sure what the term for it is, if there even is one, but you haven't been "counterfeit." On the river, your hand is tens over nines just as it was on the turn. Counterfeiting would be something like T9 on a T9xKK board. The board Kings counterfeit your nines and your hand is substantially weaker.

Also, given your read of Villain, calling preflop is not that smart unless he's Nitty McNitterson postflop, and besides that you still have the limper to deal with.

I would have folded PF, with the limper in there this is less likely to be a steal raise - though it is 6max which I don't play (yet).

I would play the flop the same way - but with the flop 3bet by villian, I would be wondering about a T with a better kicker (as well as an overpair) so would probably call down from there - but this may be weak.

If you are suggesting check/raising/calling the flop and then simply check/calling that awesome turn, that indeed would be weak. You beat everything except a set.
