Default NL 100 overpair vs bizzare overbet

Hero - $104
Villain - $88
Random Shorty - $19

Villain posts $0.50
Hero posts $1
Dealt to Hero Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Shorty folds
Villain Calls $0.50
Hero raises $2
Villain Calls $2

Flop (Pot = $6) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain checks
Hero bets $5
Villain Raises $88

Hero WTF???

No reads, only about three hands on villain (pretty standard raise fold HU stuff). This site does offer an allin button next the raise button, so this could be a misclick, but still...

FWIW - I think for less money I call in a heartbeat, without the knowledge that there is an allin button (which can be turned off in options) I fold in a heartbeat.

I misclick once every 10k hands, and most often they come in forms of min-raises preflop. I've never ever misclicked postflop in a raised pot. Thinking the risk of this being a misclick turns it from a "fold in a heartbeat" to a close decision is obviously silly. I call this btw.

Meh, I shove. It looks like a draw or a misclickaments.

I'm not folding an overpair 3 handed. If he has 2 pair so be it.

ps. I would also raise more preflop.

What? Who ever said this was a fold in a heartbeat?

I call. AJ is possible, as are qt/t8/millions of flush draws and other 1 pair and bluff hands. Even if he has T8hh for a combo draw as a coinflip you have redraw outs if he hits his flush on the turn.

OP. On the other hand, huge overbet all-in are pretty rare too, so I guess the misclick theory has at least some value after all.

It wasn't quite a minbet preflop it was $2 into a $2 pot.

Ok, against the range KK+,JJ,99,44,AhKh,AJ,QT,J9,Th8h, QQ is
~42%

Expand it to KK+,JJ,99,44,AhKh,AJs,AhTh,QTs,J9s,T8s,AJo,Ah9s,QT o,J9o,T8o and it's basically a coinflip (50.4 to 49.6)

Expand further to
KK+,JJ,99,44,AhKh,AJs,AhTh,A9s,KJs,QTs,J9s+,T8s,AJ o,A9o,KJo,QTo,J9o+,T8o

and it starts being 60-40 but I just don't think villain's range is that wide here, even HU and even with some allowance for him being a moron.

If it wasn't for knowing the site offers an ALL IN button (as a fourth option to the right of raise) I wouldn't consider the misclick option.

I guess the question is without reads how stupid do you assume your opponents are?

Call. I really doubt you are against a higher overpair or better very often. If you are it's a cooler, that's it.
