Default NL 50: JJ with a crappy turn

Button is 17/9.5/2,4 after 84 hands. Haven't played any special pots against him but I don't think he's a floaterī. Just straight ABC.

What do we do on the turn - And eventually on the river?

Hero ($59.35)
Button ($48.50)
SB ($52.20)
BB ($48.49)
UTG ($16.57)
MP ($66.16)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]], J[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]].
2 folds, Hero raises to $2, Button calls $2, 2 folds.

Flop: ($4.75) 5[[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]], 3[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]], 7[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] (2 players)
Hero bets $4, Button calls $4.

Turn: ($12.75) 4[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] (2 players)
Hero ??

I think I check against this tightish villain. Board is fairly dry and I don't think we get two streets of value out of smaller pairs.

I don't think this is the worst turn for you. The villain is ABC and is running pretty tight so unless he has 66 I think this card is okay I think it is much more likely that he has TT, 99 etc. Bet about 1/2 the pot and see what happens..

I think you should bet here as he would have probably RR pf w/ QQ, KK, AA. So you want to find out if he was slow playing or not on the turn. If you check and he bets he could easily be bluffing and it puts you in a bad spot. If we bet and he raises then we are probably beat and let it go. River i C/C to snap off a bluff if it is safe.

Yeah, I wouldn't be done with this just yet, I'd bet around 7 and take it from there.

C/c turn, keep the pot small, and get to showdown cheap.
