Neteller Account closed

I tried to log into my Neteller account today, and it said that my account had been closed. I hadn't logged in in a while, not sure if that's relevant. I have like 18 or 19 k on it.

Did this happen to anyone else?

The same thing happened to me. I emailed them (what it says to do on their site) about a week ago and haven't gotten a response. I've heard US customers can't call them, but I'm not sure if that's true. I have no idea how to get my account unlocked.

They locked my account a while ago when I tried to access it from abroad. Getting it re-opened was an absolute pain.
The only advice I can give you really is not to bother with emails as they will only ask you to call them (unless astarck is right and US customers can't call them...).

Before they closed to Americans, it was always standard for them to instalock accounts that were accessed from a different country. Also not great idea to leave 5 figs in an account you hardly every look at.

I doubt if he "left" it in, it probably got stuck in there when Neteller shut down to US customers.
