Default How do you figure out how many combos of something like 7x?

Okay so T77 flop, say i have AJ. I know there are 16 combinations of QK out there, 3 combinations of TT but how many combinations of 7x are there? x being any card. Can someone show me the math, ty!

There are two 7's left. There are 45 other cards. So there are 90 7x combinations, and 91 if you're counting 77 as 7x.

This isn't really that useful, though, because in most situations it's not that likely that your opponents holds 73o and such.

Is there anyway to make this info useful? I want a number that I can think of to determine how likely opp. has a 7.

Well, you need to consider, roughly, what hands containing a 7 you think your opponent would play in the particular pre-flop situation in question.

Did you raise UTG and he called on the button? You raised from the button and he reraised from the BB and you called? Et cetera. Also, is the opponent tight, loose, average, or what?
