in the midst of my 2nd 10buyin downswing within a month

so i built my roll at $25NL til i had $1500. then started grinding $50NL and had a 10buyin downswing, recovered and finally had a $3k roll for $100NL. within 1 week, got my roll to to $4k....and then slowly went on another bad downswing and now it's at $2800 again... and i'm obviously jumping back down to $50NL. i'm just wondering is it standard variance to go on a 10buyin downswing every level i jump, i'm seriously questioning my game. i play the cardrunners lag style btw usually and only 6max.

sounds like u have pretty good self control..you should be able to rebuild and take another shot at it in no time

If you play the 1K NL, you can now only lose 2.8 buy-ins. You would be losing much less by playing at this level.
