Re: PP11$ 50/100 JJ too weak =?
I shove this, plenty of fold equity and he would have to be the biggest nit ever to not be ahead of his range.

Re: PP11$ 50/100 JJ too weak =?
If you don't have a read that he is (very) tight you are losing alota value by folding here.
About calling: If he has QQ+, you're getting it in bad on any board with undercards anyways. If he has pretty much anything else why not get the money in pf when you are (well) ahead (and have FE vs hands that are 50/50 like KQ and maybe AQ)? |

I do not think he is raising QQ+ to 4BB. You are losing a lot of $$'s here by not shoving.

Re: PP11$ 50/100 JJ too weak =?
so folding is definitely wrong here?
i mean we might be ahead preflop but we dont really have to risk all chips at this point. hi all btw |

It's not that we don't have to risk all chips, the thing is that the risk of winning is greater than the risk of losing, so we PUSHHHHHHHHHH

Re: PP11$ 50/100 JJ too weak =?
A standard raise from UTG, isn't that something like QQ+/AQ+? I don't expect fancy plays here for such a small pot...
If we call and flop comes without overcards, it's not that much of a problem to find out whether you're ahead or not. You win some or you can get away without going broke against a monster. I'm a bit surprised there's so much confidence for pushing this. |
