Default Casino Quality Chip Set

I was looking to get a top of the line chip set for my regular home game, however, I can't seem to find a set that compares to the chip quality of my local casino.

I ordered chip samples from a number of sites but they were all quite disappointing after handling the chips at the casino. They all had a much higher pitched tone to them and just a generally inferior feel to them when compared next to some chips I brought back from the casino.

Does anyone know of somewhere where you can get a casino quality chip set. Basically I'm looking for the nicest possible chips you can get.

They don't make these for the home market, and casino obsolete sets are absurdly expensive.

I'd almost suggest finding those Las Vegas 10g things that could be bought blank, and having someone print up labels.

Paulson, Chipco, Bud Jones - get samples so you can find out what you like - not every casino uses the same manufacturer.

You might also try samples of Nevada Jacks ceramic composites - a possible mid grade chip choice.

Not sure where you ordered from, or what type of chip you are looking for.

If it's clay, try pokerchips.com for ASM chips.

One thing I might add is that when the Paulsons are brand new they feel a little rubbery and are not really like the casino chips, but after they get a little oil and wear (1 or 2 sessions) they start to feel incredibly good. My clay experience is only in blue chips (James Bond) and the Paulson Pharaoh's. The Paulson's are great and they keep coming out with new designs since I got my pharaoh's. they are a buck a chip though.
