Party crashes when I open a new table.

Just bought a new dell latitude 820 with intel 2 core duo processor. I installed party client and almost always had everytime the client frozen while I was trying to open a new table. I uninstalled and installed it again - the same problem.
Does anyone has something like this?

there have been a few threads over the last week or two about the problem. Interesting that you have a dell - I have a dell and remember someone else with problems did also.

Party are apparently looking into fixing the problem ?? however for a temporary fix you can uninstall and reinstall party everytime you want to play.

Offtopic: I bought a 15.4'' notebook and was not satisfied with the screen size for playing. Is 17'' really better and worse to buy instead of my 15.4''?

i have a 15.4" 1440x900 lcd and thats perfect for 4 tables not to bad for 6, but anything more it SUCKS.

I need help with this too, i open a SINGLE table and it crashes, this is pathetic though
