Re: stealing w/ 87s
Yeah there is no need to call reraises with 87s. Thats a flop fold there for you nearly always.

fold pf as played fine [/ QUOTE ] meh i dont mind the call pf as long as he doesnt do it every time. he has position here and he can easily take it down when people get frustrated by their hand either missing or having that Ace come in and kill their KK/QQ/JJ. edit: just to clarify, im extremely stubborn |

Re: stealing w/ 87s
nah too spewy imo. Villain might not fold KK on an A high board anyway.

Re: stealing w/ 87s
If villain 3-bets a fairly wide range this is fine.

Re: stealing w/ 87s
pf is a lot better when deep. i really like your postflop line, but i don't really see any other way to play this hand after the pf call.

Re: stealing w/ 87s
I think the main problem with calling the raise is here is simply a result of the initial bet and subsequent raise.
You are having to call $2.25 which is a little too close to that magic 10% of your stack mark for me to make the call. If you had simply raised pot, the 3-bet would likely have been .30 less back to you ... its not a huge difference, but its enough to swing what would be a borderline, loosish call to a fold in my book. |
