Hero, i disagree with betting the river there, the board is super drawy and a better hand will only raise you.

id call, i dont see what the hell he could have that beats you. hes not calling with a lone 8 on the flop, and not hes not calling anythig preflop that has a pair and an 8 on the flop. A set would raise somewhere before, and if it didnt it wouldnt raise now.

or he flopped it and just rode you to the bank. Could also have had a combo flop like pair + gut and decided on turn to bluff any club.

this is not a value bet spot at all. This is a spot to bet if you want to mess around with some meta game issues thats about it
