Default Turn?

It's only a few orbits in, and I've scooped a few without showdown, if table is paying attn it views me as more aggro than not.

Flop opinions appreciated, although turn is what I'm most interested in.

villain is at seat 0 with $719.40.
BB is at seat 2 with $203.10.
hero is at seat 4 with $734.60

3/6 5 handed

hero utg A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] raises to $21. 1 fold. villain calls. SB folds. BB calls.

Flop 7c Qs 4s: $65

BB checks. hero bets $45. villain raises to $90. BB folds. hero calls.

Turn 7c Qs 4s Ah: $245

hero and villain have about 620 behind, what's your line?

What does villain's minraise mean? Does he do it often? Is this a rarity? What read do you have on him?

I guess I would check/call a reasonable bet and check/fold to a big one. Hopefully, he's on a spade draw, too, and will take the free card. If a lot of money goes in here, you probably need the flush to win against AQ.

No read on villain, just started playing one table of 3/6 along with 2/4. It's only 3rd orbit or so, so I am going for starting lines against an unknown.

Really gotta know player tendencies to figure out what flop minraise means. I probably check/call turn depending on the bet.

unfortunately no reads. i'd think that with spades out there the minraise doesn't indicate a set, tp, or even TPTK - 56s/o, QJ, KQ, QT all seem reasonable, as does a draw. this is why i didnt 3 bet the flop and just called... but by not 3-betting i leave myself on the turn not knowing if i am even ahead.

Pot flop. Check raise all in on turn. If it gets checked through bet 1/2-3/4 (leaning more towards 1/2) pot on river.

ok, well in my case, he potted it on the turn...

you advocate c/r all in on turn - do you do this feeling as a value bet or to push him off his hand? at this point he's getting 2.5/1 if i push. this is where it got interesting for me, and i'd be interested to hear what you and everyone else what to say.

i dont know how to interpret his flop minraise, and potted turn after my check

I would fold to a turn bet of full pot.

It doesn't matter what odds he's getting. You have the best hand here a lot of the time and he's not apt to think you hit the A so he'll probably lead. If you are beat you still win a good % of the time. Flop min-raises are just not a monster often enough to make me slow down when I have 3x the pot on the turn.

you definitely could be right, but if i'm villain and i'm behind in the hand i dont like firing psb on the turn into what could easily be a missed AK on the flop - do you put him on air, draw?
