Default Bet / folding KK on the flop, what a nit!

Vil is Furlong16 on party who I have running at 33/15/2

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $623.84
BB: $185.32
UTG: $80.00
MP: $795.19
Hero (CO): $394.00
BTN: $359.95

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP calls $4.00, Hero raises to $18.00, BTN calls $18.00, 2 folds, MP calls $14.00

Flop: ($60) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
MP checks, Hero bets $44.00, BTN folds, MP raises to $120.00, Hero folds

With his limp/call I was thinking this is pretty much always a 5 or a 3 or maybe some sort of weird combo draw. This is rarely a Q and against that range I am crushed... hence the nitty fold.

Your flop bet is pretty much asking him to do what he did - raise. His raise is pretty much asking you to do what you did - fold. You guys sure are agreeable.

I say shove or call and shove any non club-5-3-2-7 turn - Q turn seems safe.

5 and 3 turns are good turns.

i'd have to know a decent amount about the guy to fold this. against a lot of guys i would call flop and fold turn. the problem is if you don't know whether he'd fire a second barrel with Q/draw. but for the most part i'm cbetting too often to fold when i have KK as an overpair.

I do kinda like this because a limp call really suggests that he has 33 or 55, but at the same time hes playing 33 percent of hands and you only made a c bet, he could also have a flush draw or maybe a straight draw, i agree its rarely a queen though it could be if hes really bad. I think the king of clubs allows us to see another card with position, OOP fold.
