Default A leak in my game? When I am in BB with Ace rag

Say 3-6 levels or so of a tournament there is one limper and pot and small blind completes and I have Ace rag. Do I just check and see flop (which I most always do) or raise it 3-4 times? If more then one limper I have no problem checking it thanks.

I'll be the second to answer. You should not be playing ace rag in the first 4 levels.

So OP should fold his BB?

To OP:

You may want to push here towards level 6 with A9 or such to pick up chips. It really depends on stacks and reads. It's hard to answer your question from the facts given. There was a post about this already today. Here is the link.

I read the article but was thinking earlier in the tourns when say you have 2k in chips and blinds only 25-50 or 30-60 I can't see pushing with ace rag there but when you raise it to say 4x more they usually call. So my question is am I better off just checking this ace in early mid levels when it get later I do push when needed.

Your situation and the one BlueEcho cites are entirely different. A-rag is basically unplayable this early (and usually later too). Just check behind and proceed with extreme caution if an A flops. The blinds are too insignificant this early to be taking these kinds of risks. Stealing them will do little for your stack and virtually nothing to your overall tournament equity. But playing them can lead to big time trouble more often than it's worth.

I'm calling prf. Then if an ace flops the only way is to bet is to see where you stand... 3/4 pot. Since you 1st to act you'll find out soon enough. It won't break you... but I don't like the check/calling or check/folding in an unreaised pot because you learn nothing. Reevaluate callers on the turn. This is much easier when it's a rainbow than when 2 to a suit flops (or lots of action around a straight)... and they are on a draw, or place you on one.

It is so obvious that you either aren't reading what I'm writing or don't understand what I am saying.

Assuming fairly deep stacks (like 20-30BBs).

Check behind. Flop your ace and check.

If position bets, just call and check most turns.

Anyhow, what usually happens is this:
Check PF.
Check Flop. Checks around.
J on the turn. SB checks. You bet. Position calls. SB Folds.
X on the River. You bet. Position Calls. You show TP, position shows Jx. You win the pot.
