Default pretty quiet for the Bellagio

I visited the Bellagio poker room this past weekend and was surprised that it was not a mad house. I usually have to wait at least an hour for a seat if I arrive late in the day to play and that was not the case this weekend. In fact the whole casino seemed dead to me. Is the Bellagio over the hill so to speak? I ended up playing at the Rio more than the Bellagio. The last couple of years for the WSOP I have played tournaments at the Rio, but always went to the Bellagio for side games. Anyone else notice the lack of business at the Bellagio?

No one goes there anymore, it's too crowded.

June and December are two of the slowest months in Vegas. This was a slow week, and the WSOP is a drop in the bucket of what it takes to fill the town. There' also alot of people playing tourneys at the V, Binions, etc.

I got on a 5/10 list on Friday and there were ~25 names ahead of me.

It's not a drop in the bucket for poker rooms. Rooms everywhere were packed this weekend. Waiting lists were insanely large in many places.

The Bellagio isn't as busy as it was a few years ago. All the extra tables in the new poker rooms have had a long term impact.

Wynn at 3:30 PM saturday. I signed up for 1/3 NL and was 16th on the list. An hour later, I had a seat, and the list was 20 names deep.

2/5 was similar.

They had a couple empty tables in the top section, but they started a new 5/10 on one of the tables around 7 or so.

They had Omaha, and lots of various HE games going. It was a very packed room .

When I was there (3:30PM to about 8PM on Saturday), they had 2/5 and 5/10NL as their "big" NL games. They had an interest list for 25/50NL, but the same 5 names on the list were still there when I left. From what I saw, their 5/10NL game was pretty deep (as you know, all their NL is uncapped).

It may be on it's way. I've been there recently on a couple big weekends, and it was fairly crowded at 10 pm, but by midnight, tables were breaking. A year ago the place stayed hopping until at least 3 am.

I've been there 4 times the past couple weeks and I think the 10/20 got going every night, though not necesarily full. They had a 10/25 plo tonight for those interested.
