Default What\'s a fair deal?

I have something of an MTT reputation in my home game (doesn't stop me getting fleeced in the cash game though), leastways two of my friends want me to play a satellite each on PS for them (a $650 & Sundays $370). Without a Jamie Gold run of cards I'd estimate the probability of them cashing to be less than 5%. In the unlikely event of me winning a seat what would be fair arrangement or should I just wish them good luck?

Are they paying your whole entry fee? Or just buying a piece of you?

Whole entry fee, give them 50% of any profit.

Just a piece, they get that same % of the amount you cash.

or whatever you agree upon. But your probability of cashing shouldn't even come into play.

Just to clarify; I play the satellites on PS, then, if I get a seat, they go to Vegas & play (they want the "once-in-a-lifetime" experience)

So there's no cost to you, but you'll do the work to get them a ticket.

Are they good friends? Or just friends?

Just friends: I think agreeing in advance for 10 - 20% of anything they cash is reasonable.

(really) Good friends: Have fun, bro - if you win, remember me...

But it's entirely up to you - don't think there's a standard for what you describe...

But to be clear - be sure to not play the same sat on two accounts. (from two laptops, for example). That can get their account terminated, which - I presume - would end the friendships pretty quickly...

You should keep in mind that it'll take 7 to 9 hours of play to qualify in these satellites (each). Make sure to point this out if they don't like your deal.

10 to 20% of their cash sounds good to me. If you really think their chances of cashing are under 5%, you could consider asking for 10% plus $1000 (from the extra $1000 PS pays if they wear the PS logo), or even the entire extra $2000 beyond the entree fee and 0% of their winnings.
