Default LAGging and looking for action, now a double gutter...

The table has gotten ridiculously tight, so I've had to resort to extreme measures, hence the preflop call. I've been raising close to 50% of hands lately, and everybody keeps folding. I can tell that they are waiting for a hand to play back with.

Villain is quite tight. Failing to bet the turn with str8 and flush draws out prob means he has nothing. Which means any bet by me won't be called by anything I beat... he's certainly not drawing unless MAYBE he has AK [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Is it better to draw and give him a chance to bluff, or bet turn?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($198)
BB ($208.35)
UTG ($203.05)
Hero ($216.25)
CO ($199)
Button ($86.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero calls $2, 2 folds, SB completes, BB raises to $10, Hero calls $8, SB calls $8.

Flop: ($30) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $18, Hero calls $18, SB folds.

Turn: ($66) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero risks a CR??

Don't wanna get raised off your 8-13 outer. Check behind. You may let him hit if he's behind, but if he was going for the check-raise (reasonably likely if he thinks you're hyperaggro) he might get bitter if a bad river drops and c/c your value bet.

check, so you limped and called raise with sc instead of risking beeing popped to 25$+ with suited connectors, because you raised so many hands lately?
