Induce river bluff
I check the river on this hand thinking villian is on the draw and may try a bluff. No read on opponent but most players on Crypto don't bluff much is the only concern.
I'm pretty sure I have the best hand to the river and the river card looks like a brick. Cryptologic Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 10 players Converter Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is UTG+2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, Hero calls, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB checks. Re: Induce river bluff
Bet pot at the flop. Bet pot at the turn. Bet the rest at the river.

Re: Induce river bluff
yeah betting the pot on the flop is the way to go. Your small bet screams weakness, in plo when you decide to go with a hand you got to go with it hard. There are few if anytimes when you bet on the flop in an unraised pot that you bet anything less than the pot size.
If you pot it on the flop and the guy calls, the pot will be a little over $15. Now with the blank on the turn you can get most of your money in on the turn. If my math is correct you started this hand with $28, $1+$5.50 on flop+ 15 on turn and you got almost your whole stack in. If he has a weak two pair he might call the flop but release it on the turn for the bigger bet and for what appears to be a stronger hand. If he has the flush draw or the striaght he might also fold the turn, with most of your money in he doesnt have any implied odds if he hits. That aside your thought process is pretty sound on the river. Most of the time the way this hand has played out he has nothing, he probably hasnt been slowplaying a set. In this case he got lucky. |
