Default 10K Stats, very long but please advise.

I know I have only played 9K hands, but there are several reasons to post this now and not when I have reached 10K. Firstly, I have just cleared my PS bonus and also I am on a bit of a downswing and maybe it has something to do with my stats.

I am sorry that this is a mega long post but I feel that 10K at 10NL (or 9K) is a bit of a milestone even though it is not a huge sample.

I think that I am playing my good hands well, but have trouble with my medium hands, e.g. AJ on a QJx flop.

I also get into the following situation a lot and ALWAYS am completely stuck as to what to do....

Hero is delt (eg) AJ [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in MP

hero raises 4xBB, 1 call. - caller is e.g. 27/10/1.5

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

hero bets 3/4 pot, limper calls

turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

hero bets 3/4, limper calls

river 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

hero valuebets 1/2 pot, limper min-raises, hero is getting about 3-1 to call and has already invested a lot in the pot - what do I do, how often is this a bluff.....

I hope this is viewed as a sensible thread, I am looking for some good feedback to improve my game - please don't tell me it is too small a sample, I know it is only 9K hands, but surly there are some things that you can help me on.

Thanks,

Guy

you could loosen up in CO and MP if you feel like it.

You should post those two last big drops (hands) in your graph. Everything else looks normal. You got hot then ran dead for awhile perhaps. But usually when I run a flat graph its because I'm not pushing when ahead often enough.

As for the hand you posted I would check the river. He's drawing or has KJ and the draw just hit so I check and see what kind of odds he gives me. Hope that helps. I'm no expert.

am I the only one who noticed the 48% at showdown stat...... I think you are calling way too much when you are beat..... 48% at showdown is pretty bad...... you should be somewhere between 52%-57% if I remember right, anything below that range and your calling down too much and anything above your folding too much, ill look through the rest and see if there is anything else that is alarming, but thats a big deal.

48% over a 10k sample is kind of irrelevant. You can barely assess vpip/pfr over a small sample.

that said matey, it looks all fairly standard, no c/r% stat, where and when are you doing that.

in the example hand, you're never being bluff-min-raised, it's a badly cued value bet. you only have TPTK on a flushing board. It's a fair fold.

you could loosen up a bit in MP/CO, but only when you feel more confident - better giving up marginal EV spots than misplaying them and making them -EV.

did you click the "only show hands that went to SD" on the hi card / 1pr / 2pr / 3 of a kind chart? since the 1pr one should be a positive figure. I imagine you didn't check that, if not you're misplaying 1 pair hands. edit - i just saw you're negative for 2 pair too, that's possibly a leak, but again - small sample.

fwiw over 500k hands I have never been below 50% in a 10k sample, not once.

Graph looks like pretty standard variance, nothing to worry about.
