Default Best place to try 2/5 NL in Atlantic City?

This has probably been asked many times, but I am not proficient at the search feature with something like this.

I'm looking to try 2/5 NL for the first time. I'm mostly an online player who can soundly beat 1/2 NL live when I've played it, so I'd like to move up.

Which casino is likely to spread the most, and in particular the softest 2/5 NL games during weekdays? Overall, are these games much less passive and loose than 1/2 NL, or is the difference less noticeable than I'm assuming? I'll be in AC for a few day periods during the week, looking to play in the mid-afternoon through late night timeframe.

I've played in the 2/5 NL at the Borgata, and it's very soft. I was surprised how small it played, though. Loose passive preflop, and weak tight postflop. I haven't played NL anywhere else in AC, though, so I can't give you a good comparison. If you're a solid online player, though, you shouldn't have any trouble with the 2/5 at the Borg.

the borgata will have 2-5 almost 24/7. during the week i have found that the games can be a real grind though. the only other casino that has 2-5 during the week is the taj, and they have like 1 table with 15 people waiting for it. the weekend is obv a different story, most casinos have up to 5-10 on the weekends.

What do you mean by a real grind? The tables aren't as loose?

Do they get any better during the night on weekdays as opposed to during the day?

I take a weekend trip to AC about every other month and for the last three visits I've found a table or two of 2-5 at Caesar's on both Friday and Saturday night. I've also seen a table or two of 2-5 spread at Harrah's on Fridays and Saturdays during this period. As others have said, you'll find 2-5 spread most consistently at Borgata and Taj.

a real grind means the players are tougher, which is implying lots of fish stop in on the weekend, 2/5nl is super easy to beat in casinos.

Whenever I go to Caesar's they have a 2/5 NL game (including weekdays). Usually pretty good action. Tropicana probably spreads a game most days too.
