Default $300 Live TurningStone

187 entrants
70 remain

5000 starting stack. Average is 13,350

I have 23000. Blinds 200-400(40)

AK UTG, I raise to 1100.
Folds to Button. Button is a youngish kid with a decent sized stack. This is his first hand at the table
Button raises to 4100
He has 12000 more behind.

What do I do?

I'd move allin. Worst case you are 40% against his range IMO. And his raise amount indicates that he might not have AA and maybe not KK. He could have something like JJ that he may fold to a reraise. I think the smallish chance that you get a fold makes it well worth it to just move allin. Again if his range is AK and QQ+ you have 39-40% equity, so never huge disaster if you are called.

shove. Bet-3bet from UTG looks really scary. You can probably get a lot of pairs to fold with your shove and his big rr does not look too much like AA/KK.

PS - How are other 2p2ers doing in the TStone series?

if you shove he can fold JJ often and QQ occasionally. definitely instajam. but don't think about it too long.

and be OOP in an 8500 chip pot when villain has 10k left. Push allin here and pray he can fold JJ, if not its not the worst spot to be in
