Online Sites_How many hands dealt per hour
Does anyone know of any statistical evaluation of the average number of hands that are dealt at a full table at online sites? I know this will change from site to site due to different software etc. From my experience on poker stars it seems they normally deal about 70 hands per hour but when I asked pokerstars if this is a good estimate they gave me the old can't tell you answer. It is well understood that live card rooms deal about 35 but I have seen no documentation about the online sites. If my number of 70 is correct it would be a save assumption to consider an online tournament to progress at twice the speed of a live card room tournament.

Re: Online Sites_How many hands dealt per hour
Not sure the exact number but when I played on UB I clocked in tons more of hands per hour because their software is so fast.
FTP's dealing is faster than before since this week. It's not close to UB tho. |

Re: Online Sites_How many hands dealt per hour
It really depends on the site. 70 seems good for Stars. WPEX is much higher (closer to 90) Of course shrt handed and high speed tables will make a difference as well. All sites are at least 2X as fast as live in my experience.
