Default Bad spot w/ the worst hand in holdem

How do you guys play this?

I really don't like any of my 3 options here. Calling, pushing, or folding.

If I call, I'm OOP with 2 high cards (with a hand that I despise) and I'm not sure what I'm rooting for on the flop. If the A hits, he might have me broke w/ AK or if the Q hits, he might have AA or KK.

If I raise, I'll be putting in 1/3 of my stack and I'll be commited anyway so I might as well push but in this case the only hands I'm getting called by have me dominated or at best TT or JJ (maybe 99) since we both have relatively large stacks.

Folding is just so weak.

AQ is just such a disgusting hand. I really think my best option is to call and hope I miss the flop lol.

hey,

Calling is your best option, if you have ability in your post-flop play.

You can lead, c/r, etc. You didn't mention any reads on opponents, which helps.

Villian hasn't been very active. I'm not sure if this is a weak steal or he has a big hand. Really unsure of what to do here, would like to hear some more opinions.

I replied in the other thread, but I push pretty quickly. His range is pretty wide.

Ok, I'm glad I made the right play. I just don't understand why someone would button minraise w/ AKs.

As "disgusting" as AQ may be, I beleive the proper play would be to repop the pot up another t13500. Or push if you wish. Just because the button has not been too active does not mean that he has to have AA/KK/AK/QQ here. He could easily have any weaker ace, 22-JJ, K9+, Q10+, or maybe worse. He could be playing tight, waiting for good spots, and figuring that since it was folded to him on the button, he should make a weak raise to get back some of the blinds he has lost.

I know what you are saying about AQ. You're thinking, ok, here we go. I'm gonna get sucked into a hand with AQ and lose again. There are spots in tourneys where you should definately fold AQ without a doubt. There are many situations where AQ sucks. This is not one one those situations so raise!
