Is Raising on the River with nutflush on paired board -EV
The river brings your backdoor nutflush, but pairs the board.
villian and yourself are 500 deep 2/5 game. 20 preflop, called (45 in pot) villian bets, 40, you call with pair and backdoor flush draw check, check river pairs the board, but gives you the nut flush. 120 in the pot, he bets 100.... Is raising here -EV? |

Yes, I know the dual post. I wanted to get both views on it. Cash game and tourney game.
Tourney its a more simple push, due to the fact that I need all the chips. Cash Im not sure what he would call a 300 dollar reraise with. As for the hand, the preflop guy had QQ (so I was told) and person #2 flopped his 5's and let me catch up. -VI |
