whats so wrong in that hand?? nl 100
i played that hand against a ps nl100 regular. After the hand he told me ''fishy play'' but didnt explain.
so what was so wrong. lately he was taking advantage of my weak play against him winning a lot of small pot. so i only call after the flop and i was going to c/r him after the turn. Min raise is ok or you raise more?? and do you bet more after the river?? i suppose hes probably not that strong after he just called my raise after the turn so he would not call much more?? Yeah weird line. It's best to reraise preflop here.

Ugh, this hand is very ugly.
Raising this turn is pretty bad IMO, but if you are going to bluff, make it at least $35. Having sucked out on the river, you should have bet A LOT more than what you did. |

What do people think about rasing the flop to $10 or so?

Re: whats so wrong in that hand?? nl 100
It's not that bad. I wouldn't pay attention to an opponent. I had a hand where I flat called a raise on the button with JTs. Called a cbet on a low flop, checked behind when a T hit, and called a bet on the river. Opponent had AQ and went on and on about what a donk and calling station I was. Apparently, I was supposed to fold preflop and to the cbet, rather than float. The moral is people get mad when you don't respect their bluffs.
Preflop and flop are standard, although you could also raise either. On the turn, I would raise a little more if you raise, but you could also call or fold. On the river, you need to make a bigger value bet. |
