Have a multi-choice exam tomorrow
I think I only need 30% to pass (or 40% if I've failed another class). Selections between A,B,C,D,E for 50 questions.
The professor has told me that he always makes sure there's an equal number of As,Bs,Cs,Ds and Es so someone can't just select all Ds and pass etc. I've checked a past paper and sure enough there was 10 of each. So it seems to me that if I know I have answered 10 correct (20%) and add up the answers for those questions (say 2 As, 3 Bs, 1 C, 2 Ds and 2 Es) that'll mean there's 9 Cs left, checking all the remaining Cs will then guarantees me 18%, + 20% of the questions I do know, which means 38%. Amirite? |

Re: Have a multi-choice exam tomorrow
I don't think I can learn 40% of this module, it's about 3 times the size of my others.
But if I'm correct in thinking the above, I can use what I do know to work out how many As,Bs,Cs,Ds and Es are left, and then select the one with the most to use as my answers for all the ones I don't know, guaranteeing me a minimum of correct questions. |
