Default $16 - AK bubble, bigstack v bigstack

I think pf is a fold, but villain recently acquired his stack and i suspect have been raising quite liberally so I decided to call and bet/shove any A/K flop. On the flop I decided to bet 1k to signal ive hit the ace. Once Villain minraised i felt pretty sick but chose to push anyway.

He is drawing to 2-3 outs at most. So what is the point of doing anything other then check/calling? You are gonna stack him if he has an ace no matter what you do and he isn't outdrawing you if he doesn't so why not give him a chance to bluff his equity off?

Okay so we c/c. What happens on the river when villain checks behind on the turn? bet/call or check/call? Do we start betting if the turn is something like 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]? How's PF?

Do you really want to get it in with ace high with the only player on the table who can bubble you when the button has 900 chips? I push pf with KK+

This is fine, I just hate to play it slow if he could be drawing to any outs whatsoever with the other stacks being so short. I guess a call of his raise and checking the turn will have you all in on the turn anyway with only slightly over 2k behind but I don't think shoving over his minraise is that bad.

Edit: If you aren't gonna bet this flop then fold pf, once you see hes coming back at you its fine to just call and check the turn but I think checking this flop is horribly bad and is just asking to get stacked.

you can acutally fold this preflop. Actually, you can even fold AA preflop.

edit: maybe not AA
