I'm raising the turn. River sucks, but the pot is ginormous, so I can't really fault your call.

:grunch:

preflop is fine.

flop is fine.

Would have 3 bet turn.

Can't see any other play for the river except for calling and seeing the boat.

Good play PF.

Good raise of the flop.

Looks like BB may have caught something. Raise here for information. If he calls you might be ahead. Fold to a rerasise.

River is a bad card. If BB bets after your turn raise it's an easy fold. The way you played it pot is too big and you have not enough info. SB raise probably is enough info, but pot is huge. I can fold here and live with myself.

Turn is a pretty easy raise. Most of the time he has a weak jack here or screwing around with a flush draw. That jack hurts pretty badly one the river. If you would have raised, you could've got a free showdown if the SB continues to be tricky and check-raise. As it was played, I think I could find a fold on the river after the SB check-raised. I still think you're introuble with the BB bet, but I doubt I could fold here -- even knowing it's the right play.

Flop is good.

Turn: I think I'd raise to try to fold SOMEONE with a lone ace. Sadly, with MP2 still calling away, it'll just build a bigger pot. And with BB firing away after our preflop raise, and flop raise, calling and getting to showdown cheaply is probably best at this point with a paired board and a flush draw.

I think you can safely fold to the C/R on the river. I would just wish the BB would have called so I wouldn't feel obligated to overcall.

Preflop and flop a okay in my book. Why didn't you raise the turn? Your probably still ahead and I'm thinking you gotta charge those [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] hands. River sucks. BB has lead me to believe he's got a jack, a draw, or maybe an 8, and with all of the other players in the pot, the board double pairing, and the flush hitting, I might dump that for BB's bet (maybe a bit weak tight on my part). After sb checkraises I'm almost posotive your beat, but I still call because I suck and can't fold to a river raise. WTF could BB have that he bet the whole way and folds the river???????

What about calling the flop and then raising the turn?

Raising the flop doesn't really protect your hand in this big pot. I think calling the flop and raising the turn protects better your hand.

But I must be wrong
