Default Blind Battle - Two-pair donked into on turn

Villian is unknown

NL100 6-max / effective stacks 80 / Hero is SLAG

Hero is BB with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Folded to SB who completes, Hero raises to 4, SB calls

Flop (8)

10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villian checks, Hero bets 7, Villian calls

Turn (21)

9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villian bets 26, Hero (?) shoves.

Standard?

(not a bump) - I posted because I'm wondering if I should muck this because although I have two-pair I can't see anything that Villian is representing that I can beat. So my two-pair is a kind of bluff catcher really. Then again the board is super-drawy but Villian's line is weird.

There's your problem right there. Very hard to make good decisions when the information you have is very limited.

With such contradictory replies, could you please be more specific about the reasons behind your decision? This is an interesting hand and I too would like to know the usually right way to play it against an unknown.

top 2 blind battle villain hasnt even got a full stack. call and reev is terrible because alot of scare cards could come on the turn that could either slow down the action from Ax/lower 2pr or complete a draw.

Basically, you are way ahead of his range, he'll call you with worse, and so many river cards suck

shove is fine...

u'll get value from any A, draws, whatever

if you call, theres 2 fl draws out and if they complete u mite get scared on river, or mebbe he won't call u shove if a flush completes, etc etc etc

Easy push. He could donk a turned fd, a flopped fd, T9, Q9, Ax etc. Calling is definately the worst option, or at least an option that would never be correct for the exact reasons US stated.
