Default Quick laptop question

Ok, im buying a new laptop want to have a graphic card that allow me to have multiple screen.

Im buying this one from dell : http://configure.dell.com/dellstore/...OC=94002P_F_1E

There are 2 graphic cards offered, does one of them allow for 2 screen, if not can you tell me a good graphic card for a laptop to multitable with multiple screen?

Also, if I buy one of the 2 offered and they cant have multiple screen is it possible to add a second card to my laptop and then be able to add a 2nd screen?

Thanks.

Two EXTERNAL screens, or two in total?

Most (not all) laptops allow one additional screen, very very few allow two additional screens out of the box.

All laptops can have a PCMCIA card added to provide another external screen, using something like this: http://www.villagetronic.com/vtbook/magic.html

I want 2 total, so one more. So I just buy a PMCIA card and it will be fine?

No. That laptop will support one external monitor. You don't need any additional cards.

It looks like the x1400 has dual DVI ports. So you may be able to support 2 external monitors out of the box. The 7900gs probably has dual DVI as well. Check with Dell customer support to verify.
