(78) TT unusual line
Unknown villain.
Flop - I'll c-bet often but didn't this time. Turn - Since I didn't c-bet, chances are greater he's bluffing, so I merely called. River - Yes, that's a minraise. He might fold whatever weakish hand he might have been value betting to a big raise there so I minraised. Let the berating begin. Re: (78) TT unusual line
My only problem is the turn. That board is pretty draw heavy so I think we need to raise.
Also, is everyone making 3.5x raises in lvl 1 and 2? I just make it 3x. |

Re: (78) TT unusual line
I kind of like the 3.5x with that hand - at lvl 1 only. As long as you do it with AA sometimes. You HAVE to raise the turn. Why play assuming he's bluffing? Play assuming you're going to stack him. You only have to stack him like 1 in 7 times for raising to be more profitable. Not to mention all the scare cards and draws that could hit.

Re: (78) TT unusual line
t70 is my standard in L1, you won't see me open-raise any other amount, period.
Yeah, the turn was really bad in hind sight. Yuck. I was more focused on the river minraise, because it was, well, a minraise (gasp). |

Re: (78) TT unusual line
Raise the turn you donkey! That's not exactly a board to be slow playing on. In fact, it's about as bad as a board could possibly be for slow playing, whether you think there's a decent chance he's bluffing or not. River min raise is fine.

Re: (78) TT unusual line
Minraising is highly underrated - but against the right villian at the right time. Key in the long run is to mix bluffs with monsters when you do it.

Re: (78) TT unusual line
Personally i like the river bet, kinda looks like a scared bet and although very risky the check on the turn enduced action on the river when the blank pops off , villain probably put u on a draw, sort of risk vs reward situation.
