Default Telling an employer about someone not being honest

Hi, I have a sort of friend applying for a job that he shouldn't really get, because most of what he put on his resume isn't real (or if it is it has been exaggerated drastically). I know this because of what I have been told by a third friend. Basically, this guy wronged me and I have been looking for various forms of payback- is this a horrible thing to do or is it acceptable? It's not a huge job but it is something he is interested in, but he's not the best candidate for it. I wouldn't be doing it to help them, just to get back at him which makes me think it might not be the best idea. Just curious what you think. I was planning on sending an email to HR where he applied telling them to look closer at his references and resume.

If you really want to screw him wait until he works there for a month, then tell HR that he made up stuff on his resume.

Sounds to me like someone is a little jealous they aren't getting the job.

WTF? You have a problem with the guy and instead of manning up and having it out, your plan is to rat him out? You need to grow a set pal.

He's not a friend. Best to admit that now. If I had a "friend" that did this to me I'd kick the [censored] out of him. Then he wouldn't be my friend.

See how men handle things like this?
