50NL- Bluff a TAG?
Villain is 27/15/3 over 50 hands, seems like a standard TAG. Since his button open range should be pretty big, should I take a stab?

b/f on the turn looks good here...if he was on the button i would probably have 3bet him, IMO it is ok to 3bet here too though.

Re: 50NL- Bluff a TAG?
Define "take a stab". Usually this means trying to steal a pot you're likely behind in.
You're ahead in this pot 90% of the time. What worse hand calls a bet? (maybe a flush draw) What better hand folds? (none) A bet here is for value/protection against flush/overs. |

Re: 50NL- Bluff a TAG?
90% is too high on second thought. He could have 99-JJ, but you'd probably have to fire again on the river to fold those. He could have a random 8, but that's obviously not folding either. I still might bet, but it's not a bluff

Re: 50NL- Bluff a TAG?
I don't think betting turn is a bluff. I think it's for vlaue and to protect against 6 outers.
Yeah I probably bet here and fold to raise, which would almost never be a bluff with <66 IMO. |

I bet about $3 on the turn in this spot.
