Re: 25 NL 6-max.. what to do here
First, like a bigger raise pf. At least 3-3.5. If he has a smaller pair we DO NOT want him to be getting the right odds to hit a set.
Hero plays the flop correctly, and pushes the turn. You have a great hand, and although he could possibly have a flush, he may call with 88, 44, 33, AK-AT, some Ax 17 dollars and the pot is 15 so just shove. Can't be THAT scared of a flush, although it is possible. |

Re: 25 NL 6-max.. what to do here
Magaca, i think betting ten is just allowing him to draw if he has a Pair+draw hand. We only have 17 and a 15$ pot, so i think a shove is more correct.

raise more preflop. I make it $4 to go.
as played your bet is ok given that there are straight and flush draws possible. i would bet again on the turn. flushes are a reasonable proportion of his range but probably <50% (especially with the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] out), and you don't want another club to roll off. you should probably just shove. |

Re: 25 NL 6-max.. what to do here
There are two schools of thought here, one that advocates putting your money in and one that checks behind turn to call river bluffs. I tend to think that a 21/18 will rarely put you on a flush draw and thus probably isn't scared of the club as much as you'd normally be. However the fact that he's TAG (though we don't see postflop AF numbers) leads me to believe he won't check call a psb with a draw on this kind of flop. His line looks more like a flop float or a set. Give me an AF and I can tell you what I'd do.
