A friend suggested NO XPLODE to me instead of the creatine monohydrate I was using. What are your guys's thoughts on this?

Re: Creatine Monohydrate vs CEE
no xplode is like a massive caffeine rush. i won't lie, i loved it the first bottle i had, but it doesnt work anymore (and i can't imagine it was good for my blood pressure)
go with a stimulant free PWO drink like vendetta |

Re: Creatine Monohydrate vs CEE
I take CEE (not NO XPLODE) and it definitely works for me.
Everything I've read on CEE indicates it's either equal to or better than monohydrate. |

"i've heard creatine breaks down in liquid."
this takes hours...so i wouldn't recommend mixing your creatine drink on monday and drinking it on thursday...but if you mix it and then go work out and drink it after you will be fine... |

Re: Creatine Monohydrate vs CEE
I hear Surge is pretty good if you want a drink like NO Explode that actually does something. Furthermore, it's made by Biotest, one of like two reputable supplement manufacturers that I patronize (Optimum Nutrition being the other major one).

NO-Xplode
No he doesn't work for GNC. Is the concensus on here that it's crap. Surely it must be better than no creatine at all?!

Re: NO-Xplode
Surge and NO-Xplode aren't really similar at all...(and no this isn't because I slightly dislike Biotest ) One is more of a Nitric Oxide booster/Creatine drink, the other is a carb/protein pre/post-workout shake which doesn't have any so called pump inducers or creatine in it.
NO-Xplode (which I've never tried) probably isn't "crap" per say, but it is probably way to expensive just by looking at its ingredients.) I'd just get some bulk creatine mono or CEE (really not enough research I've seen that definitively says one is better than the other, I'd say whichever you prefer or is cheaper.) And if you want the "pump" type benefits you might try N.O. Limits by Designer Supplements. I don't use any NO boosters as I don't think they are neccessary, but this one has some pretty good science behind it in the write-up, and has good anecdotal feedback by some smart minds.) All in all, I don't think anyone needs a NO booster, or that they even do anything really. They are one of the few supplements I haven't ever felt like experimenting with |
