Villain is 35/10 over < 50 hands, low aggression factor. He took a very long time to check to me on the river, while he acted fairly quickly on both previous streets.

i might have considered c/c the river because bottom set does not beat a whole bunch of hands in this spot

I fold here. Although I would either bet bigger on the river (pot committing myself), or just check it down, depending on how donkish this guy seems
edit: curious, am I wrong in doing either of those in that sitution? |

my fault.
i am not sure if NOT betting this river loses value. but villain called 2 decent sized bets on 2 streets. --> i check behind |

We've got no idea how villain plays due to the very low sample size so he can have SO many hands on this river that we beat. After you have been check-raised, it becomes tougher. But this time, again partly to do with the lack of knowledge of our opponent, and the timing tells, I think we can find a fold here. |

You picked up on the fact that he isn't very aggressive & that he acted differently on the river versus the other streets...warning bells should be going off. With that drawy board...yeah, I'll take a free showdown. But, since you didn't, might as well fold because you're beat. |
