hero: running 30/20 in 35 hands at this table. I've got &gt;100 hands with villain, so he probably sees me as a little tighter than that.</font>

As played FOLD flop...

Has(how often) villain 3 bet you in the past???? Any idea on what villain will call a 4 bet shove with???

Based on your image I say a 4 bet shove is an option...But villain in this hand "seems" very tight...I would want to have a better idea of his 3 bet range and what he calls a shove with before I shoved AK...

VS a tight "nitty" villain folding AKo PF can be strongly considered...This villain is 16/9.5...So his 3 bet range is prolly very narrow and his calling range even narrower..If we do CALL and spike an A or K we are unlikely to get much if anything out of villain when we are ahead..

thanks chomp.

i thought the idea behind calling a 3b OOP with AK sometimes was to CRAI 'suitable flops'.

This seemed like a suitable flop, he didn't seem to be loving the flop with his big bet, so I CRAIed (also I was tilting from the other hand I posted).

my equity isn't bad vs his (tight) range, but I guess I had no FE against anything except AK no heart.

I have got to learn to let these 3bet pots go...

This is a spot where it helps to know if your opponent is a thinking player. I'm guilty of this as well at not knowing if villain is capable of folding TT-JJ here alot of the time.

As played I think I fold as well, you probably don't have any FE and you don't have the lead.

I would've just called it... Why not just wait to see if another hearts will come up, and stack the guy with your almost nutflush? If no hearts came, just see if an A or a K will come, it might be enough on this board! Or is this a really weird play? I only play really micro limits like $10NL, but that's the way I would've played..

I missed the monotone nature of the flop...I can see a CRAI..

All we fear here is AA or AK with Ah, sets very unlikely). Given the PF line I thought the only question would be C/r AI or 3bet AI on the flop.

The flop cbet gives us very little info so we have to have a mega-tight range read for the PF 3-bet in position to fold this.
